SNR Marriage Hall
Weddings are timeless events! The formality and vibe of wedding have evolved, so has the wedding venues. While alternative venues are being explored, the conventional wedding halls are never forgotten.
With a built-up of 35,000 sq ft, and 3 stories height, this wedding hall is located in the outskirts of Chennai. Volumes of different heights are stacked one above other with a large dome at the top. The building is traditional on the exterior, modern and opulent on the inside.

The foyer on both the levels are flanked by wide staircases and are enclosed by the glass facade filtering light into the space. Grandeur and Timelessness were synonymous with this design. Lines define the banquet hall on the first level. The double height hall is cladded with linear elements both horizontal and vertical, highlighting the vastness of the space.
Wood and laminate finishes are dominant with a touch of bronze to add glint to the space. There is an interplay of light and dark, embellished and unembellished, gloss and matte throughout the space.The spiral staircase at the rear end of the hall is a point of focus, the curvilinear wooden structure breaks away from the art-deco style seen in the rest of the hall.
Stepped false ceiling with alternating plain and grooved panels illuminated with light fittings classify the space.The dining hall is subtle in contrast to the Banquet hall. Patterned white false ceiling, off white cladding and flooring brighten up the space and enhances the dining experience.
